Making Bread
 
I was bored this afternoon so i decided to TRY and make my own bread....i followed this recipe How to make white bread - Bread - Bread - from Delia Online and its turned out delicious, never ever made it before, i'm well chuffed with how its turned out :D


i was told it was hard to make your own bread but it isnt at all

i didnt have any square tins so we now have a round loaf......and loads more dough left

Good on yer shaz, i made bread fer a while in 70s twas much better than the crap in supermarket etc.;)

best thing about it was Cashy, i didnt have to go out and buy the stuff to make it, reece made pizza at school a couple of weeks ago so i already had the strong flour and the yeast in.....i didnt know you put sugar in bread either

Congratulations on having success at your 1st attempt.
I used to make it the hard way as you have but due to arthritic shoulders I let a bread machine do the hard work now.
All that kneading is a good workout to prevent 'bingo wings' - I hope you keep it up:D

i could only use one arm to beat the dough Margaret, so it took slightly longer than it normally would, looks like i will always have one arm firmer than the other ;)

Teacakes, you roll the dough into a ball then squeeze it so it is flatter before baking
