Re: Somebody is taking the pee

I saw it on the B.B.C. this morning.

In the film it showed people did use it, and it's preferable to people peeing in doorways etc.

Westminster already puts portable p-issoirs in the streets at weekends, for men who can't hold their drink, but as yet there isn't anything for the many lager lout girls to use.

They usually wait until they're in the warmth of a tube train!

Disgusting....

This is not good enough to be a public urinal.

For starters, it relies on a certain height person using it, what if your short?

And that hole is way too small :D

I bet some P-head kicks it over too.

The wee-wee doesn't go in the bin, it goes in a seperate drawer in the bottom filled with grass, that is then turned into fertiliser.

Since most councils have closed public loos, I think it's a good idea having portable p-issoirs in place for drunken revellers.

I don't see any benefit having a wheelie bin that doubles as a toilet.

It won't help all the bladdered women, or anyone wanting the loo, but not to pee in.

i know the slash don't go in the bin, but if ya look at it the pipework is n therefore will break when the refuse wagon tips n bangs it.

I agree it's a daft idea.

A bin's a good idea.

A portable urinal is a good idea.

Combining the two is daft, and has no discernible benefits.

I think there's more of a need to design a loo for all those tanked up lady squatters.

With a bit of concentration a bloke can pee through a letter box, off a bridge, over a wall, in a flower tower, or even through railings.

From a health and safety point of view I think it isn't men that are the biggest problem.

Any one remember the triangular steel plates that were bolted to the wall on corners near pubs.
It was to make sure you got your own back.
There used to be one in Abbey St next to the Black Horse.

The only one that is left Retlaw (I believe) is the one at the Fort's Arms in Clayton.

Steady Retlaw ... you called me a lady ...:eek:

Are you sure this bin is not a joke ? They would still be urinating in a public place ? Flashing it like ?

Semi-public.

The gentleman's winky goes in a little hole in the bin.

The portable p-issoirs, currently used by Westminster Council, don't leave much to the imagination, as to what is being carried out.

I think the visible white square, at eye-level, must have been handily left for graffiti.

There's almost a religious look to what's happening, though only one of them can be facing Mecca....unless it also rotates.

Think the nearby Soho Peep Show proprieters would complain to the council, if they were putting portable, er...., er....private moment booths.

Highly doubtful if it would be anyone from the council, at least until the leaves are back on the trees.
