COUNTDOWN star Carol Vorderman has become a maths czar for the Tories in a campaign to get kids counting again. | News Of The World

Well with ratings dropping, it's nice the presenters are finding suitable homes.

'Dave' Cameron has roped in Location's Kirstie Allsop, as the housing Czar.

'To understand all this in an instant, consider Kirstie Allsopp, TV presenter, friend of the Camerons and apparently zealous Tory: the daughter of the sixth Baron Hindlip, employed as an adviser to the Conservatives on housing policy, and lately tipped for a seat in the House of Lords. In her role as the co-host of Channel 4's Location, Location, Location, she has long represented the property fetishism that often comes with a thinly veiled kind of class prejudice, as evidenced by the annual Location spin-off in which the likes of Hackney, Merthyr Tydfil and Middlesbrough have been sensitively honoured as Britain's "worst places to live".
The soul of Kirstie Allsopp may still cost the Tories dear | John Harris | Comment is free | The Guardian

It's a pity Ken Dodd isn't on Hollyoaks, he could become the Tories new tax Czar.

:D

Though sadly the hug-a-hoodie Tory-lite party of today, can't hold a candle to the celebrity endorsements at the Young Conservative conference in 1983.

YouTube - Kenny Everett Causes Controversy At The Conservative Party Conference 1983.

All done in the best possible taste...well not really.

Perhaps the might get Jimmy Tarbuck to do a 'Let's bomb Basra.'

Apparently there's not an awfully big celebrity fan club to choose from.

'Kirstie Allsop, Glynis Barber, Cilla Black, Michael Brandon, Errol Brown, Janet Brown, Frank Bruno, Judith Chalmers, Joan Collins, Ronnie Corbett, Paul Daniels, Jim Davidson, Ken Dodd, Lynsey de Paul, Julian Fellowes, Bryan Ferry, Freddie Forsyth, James Gaddas, Tony Hadley, Nicky Haslam, Matt Jay, Nanette Newman, Bruce Oldfield, Zandra Rhodes, Anneka Rice, Tim Rice, Phil Spencer, Peter Stringfellow, Jimmy Tarbuck, Marco Pierre White, Anthony Worral Thompson, Bill Wyman'

'Neil Adams, Mark Bosnich, Ian Botham, Trevor Brooking, Bob Champion, Tony Cottee, Garth Crooks, Susanne Dando, Steve Davis, Nick Faldo, Graham Gooch, Jimmy Greaves, Brian Jacks, Clive Lloyd, Terry Neil, Fred Trueman'

Does this mean all words longer than nine leters, will now be banned?

Perhaps it's so we won't be able to read any reports of M.P.'s boyfriend's (10) dying, by choking on an orange, whilst indulging in auto-erotic (10), self-asphyxiation (16) sex games.

:D

Doh, got it now!

Cardamon lover.

Should have got it from the clue, 'men in old folk's homes think of it as hot, and it gets them sweating'.

Give me a clue as to where you saw the clue?

Remarkable, I nearly put that as a clue but thought, no, that would make it too easy!
