A noble race of people.
They live in harmony with the Earth.
I am reading a book at the mo, written by a shaman, and am exploring native american spiritualism

PS Eric likes you to call them 'native people' not 'indians'

Personally, I call 'em injuns, but that's what you get from a childhood spent watching B movie Westerns at the Empire and Princess! :D

There were more Westerns at the Bug Hut than at Thempire un Princess. William Boyd, Roy Rogers, Gene Autry. Them wur real Injun fighters.
Had to close Bug Hut every 6 weeks to patch up all the bullet holes in the screen.
Talking of the Princess, what was the last film just before it burnt down.
I took photo's in and around there after the fire.

Nag, nag, nag ... what moi ? I am just overfond of interrogatives that's all ..:p
Ya' know the 'what, who, which, why, where' words. Would make a great squaw.

They are an interesting race though ... would love to learn a little more about them myself, beyond the image Hollywood has given them.

Really ?? Maybe the Indian braves knew what they meant anyway. Perhaps Mallard saying we are all the same has some sort of grounding ... just men all the same all over the world... :D

Re: Indian Mythology

I thought they referred to the Canadian Indians as "People of the first nation" ? & American Indians as "Native Americans" ? This seems an accurate & polite way of referring to them.

They are supposed to have migrated across the land bridge from Siberia.
If you drive through many of the reservations in the Western USA now, you are more likely to find a Casino, tax free cigs and booze and loads of drunken Native Americans - at any time of the morning. Been there, got the T-shirt.

That is one theory.
The Hopi 'indians' have been connected with the Maya of South America.
Their ancient folk memories, passed down through generations, are identical.

Don't remember that film at the Princess.
On the wall of the cinema was a poster in a frame.
The Camp on Blood Island.
It showed a picture of a Jap soldier with rifle and bayonet.
