I accept the rules . Didn't think it was a swear word.

Wouldn't make much of an Onward Christian Soldier, would you?

Always know what weapons are in your armoury, before rushing headlong, and foolishly, into any battle.

In a battle of wits, you seem fairly witless, so it's probably time you got your little hankie out, and started waving it.

[quote=garinda;817431]Ok, let's talk about some of the bigotry that's perpetrated in the name of Jesus.

What so you think about a church that for decades has hidden and defended it's child abusing priests, and thus allowed them to go on and commit more heinous crimes, and ignored the thousands of young victims, in order to protect itself?

It's totally inexcusable , just as the same situation is totally inexcusable in other groups where children are vulnerable.

There is no way I or anyone with sense or decency could think othewise.

As a Guardian correspondent wrote : It is the worst crisis the Catholic Church has faced since the Reformation.

...and what have you done in protest at this outrageous abuse, and offically sanctioned cover-up?

All the bigots on Accy Web have been voicing their disapproval, at the gross hypocrisy of the leaders of the Catholic church, for years.

You never know, Garinda...JCB could well be the Forlorn Hope, with after the sacrifice, others to follow.

Odd.

Strange then that you should chose to list it separately from the rest of Christianity, as a target for bigoted prejudice on Accy Web, in your opening post in this thread.

Probably speaking in tongues.

Or like many, who need the crutch of religion, to help them hobble along life's journey, and need the protection of some greater being....he's too afraid to say what he actually thinks, and therefore has to hide behind unheard of acronym.

I have e-mailed every Catholic bishop in the country to let them know my views on this outrageous abuse.

I hope some took time out from fiddling under their cassocks, to read the emails.

What about the Holy Father?

He's been implicit in turning a blind eye to the sexual abuse of children, and keener on protecting the church, rather than protecting the innocent children, abused in that church's name.
