not a drop passed my lips Steve.
These days I am almost teetotal.......I actually seem to prefer tea.
I just fancy a glass of wine very infrequently......but often feel it isn't worth opening a bottle as the rest finds its way down the sink......sad or what?

Oh my Margaret Sacrilege !! Can we perhaps string up one of those wire things they used to have in Baileys/Moffats between your house and mine to pass on your left overs ... :D

Kate, Thank you for your greetings...as for the leftovers......I don't reckon you would much like the stuff that I very occasionally drink.......it is usually sweet white dessert wine......most folk take a sip and go Urrrrrgh!
I can imagine you drinking something red and sophisticated......a Chateau Neuf du Pape perhaps? :D

Cashy you have now put the image in my head, of Kate drinking some vulgar plonk(through a hideously coloured long straw) from a galvanised bucket........I just can't see her putting the metal to her lips :D:D:D:D
