Cheers for that Spugs mate, "The great Oban Haggis Hunt" wasn't open when we visited a few years back, but the Distillery was :D So we had to go there instead ! :D:D One thing I did notice though the Argyllie Hagii is definitely different to elsewhere in JockLand, it's all regional I expect, local variances & whatnot.

The only trouble with fresh caught Haggis Dave is if they're not cleaned properly you get those little balls of lead shot stuck between your teeth:D

That's because it's been shot by poachers,(you've been getting dodgy Haggis mate, probably undersized too :) ) proper registered catchers/hunters wouldn't dream of using a shotgun or any sort of fire arm, no damages the meat does that & it ruins the pelt ! How can you make a sporran out of a holey fur ? All the Jockeens money would be falling out ! (Don't reckon it'd hit the floor though !! :D)

Got to say a big thank you in advance to Spuggie for bringing the haggis back, the last one he brought us was absolutely delicious.

Now I don't want anyone thinking we're being greedy asking for four :) Two of these are a present for Siobhan's childminder. She lived in Scotland for a number of years but had to move back here due to family commitments.

Right gang the haggis is ordered. Alan did have a confused look on his face, but explained what was happening. So they will be picked up Friday morning and I land about tea time.
