ive had this txt, replied 'yes' to c wot would happen, and a rep calld me asking for details about my accident. The poor woman got all confused when i told her she should know as the first i knew woz when they contactd me. She said she woz putting me on hold, faint click, call ended lol

I had a cold call last night, went something like "we are contacting all home owners in the area" at which point I intervened and said I'm not a home owner, oh sorry, but before she went off I just said you shouldn't be calling me anyway as I'm on the preferred callers list, the reply was very interesting, she said well it doesn't apply to us because we are not selling anything, I just said, that might be, but your still making a bloody nuisance of yourself and your calls are not welcome, nothing I can do about that she replies and hangs up

That's always the last resort, well second to last, last resort is giving them a slap and the last time it almost came to that is before I lived over here and the Police were not very impressed :rolleyes::D

Got another one this aft the call went something like this

Yes I'm on line now

okay wait for a minute, the site you've given me is a porn site, with naked women all over the place,

Oh yes my mistake there's a message on the screen now it just says F*** off you annoying little a***hole and don't bother me again

Although these companies are all based outside of Europe, who's paying them to sell products, or gather information?

If it's a company in anyway connected to the E.U. they should be fined.

They're driving me mad.

One rang back for a full ten minutes, even though the answerphpne was on, because I told him to go away.

The next time someone asks to speak to me I'll say 'Sure, just leave me your home phone number and I'll call you back when you're asleep'.
