The (current) top-rated comment is either a sublime dig at Daily Mail readers...
Quote:

I am quite concerned about the impact this Leviathan of a planet may have on house prices.
or a genuine response, genuinely approved by more than a hundred stereotypes.

Better a planet with some intelligent life ;) rather than Comet Mancie ! :D Blazing a dim & distant trail across the Heavens, effusing noxious gasses & hot air ! Eventually to either disappear in a blaze of self immolation or come crashing down to Earth to be regarded as somewhat of a curio & a rum old thing amongst the populace. :)

Prof Daniel Whitmire from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette believes the data may prove Tyche's existence within two years.

He believes the planet is so huge, it will ahve a raised temperature left from its formation that will make it far higher than others, such as Pluto, at -73C, as 'it takes an object this size a long time to cool off'.

Whoa hang on now I'm confused, this prof' claims that this Planet is going to be warmer than others then offers Pluto as an example of our planets,

Pluto Not a Planet, Astronomers Rule

So IS Pluto a Planet or not?

From what I understand; Pluto is a planet by all of the traditional conventions, but astronomers say there are many (maybe hundreds of) objects in the outer solar system as big as, if not bigger than pluto. So basically, they took away it's planetary status so that the text books have an easy to learn number of planets - and then changed the way they classify planets in an unsuccessful attempt to avoid confusion.

I'd never heard of Tyche before though - thanks to OP for the article.

Nevermind about losing them, I just hope they don't rename any.

I still can't get use to Snickers.

I'd hate to see Mars go the same way.

:D
