Accrington Carnival
Its on June 18th which is a week this Saturday, why hasn't anything been said anywhere about it? Other than the one banner I've seen and a bit in the Observer saying that Cain Dingle will be there, there's been nothing...can anyone tell us about whats going to be on, what time it starts and the route it is taking this year

Re: Accrington Carnival

Re: Accrington Carnival
apparently, something like....
Thorneyholme Rd, Queens Road, Whalley Road, Abbey Street, Plantation street... 'stuff' going on at the start on Thorneyholme and at the end at the college I think. This may help?? Welcome to Accrington Lions hmmmm - don't think that's turned into a link but you can type it in if it doesn't when I press send!! lol (bit rubbish at this technical malarky!) edited after...haha - it did turn into a link but it renamed itself to welcome to accrington lions :) |

Re: Accrington Carnival
I can't see what the attraction is about Cain Dingle(Jeff Hordley)...he always looks like he could do with a good wash with a big chunk of Carbolic soap.......designer stubble my bum(Jim Royle - modified for the family forum)

He's a very good actor, and nothing like the thugish Cain. He was in one of the best plays I've ever seen, And Did Those Feet, which received a standing ovation, and not one dry eye in the house. Although I think Sparkologist claimed he had a bit of hay fever. :D |
Re: Accrington Carnival
I'm sure he is a good actor G....but lots of women seem to lust after him(well, according to Loose Women)....he certainly doesn't float my boat. I like my men a bit more.....erm...... groomed and smooth looking, suave, sophisticated. Come back Cary Grant(or at least that style).
