How did you do, saying howdy do?
Oh dear.
Searching for something else I came across my own introduction thread. No capitals. Badly spaced. All a bit texty. How embarrassing. I do remember getting told off for chatting in there, though suprisingly not for using text speak. It was a very late winter's night, with a blizzard howling outside, so I'm excusing my chattering piffle. Still, besides the odd bit of name dropping, the posts made me smile. So funny then....funny now.:D Try and find your's. Do you recognise who was posting? Do you like 'em? :D http://www.accringtonweb.com/forum/f...xile-8006.html :o:rolleyes::D |
Re: How did you do, saying howdy do?
Just rereading it, it's a wonder I wasn't banned back in 2005, for cheekily questioning a moderator.
Funny, and fond of pushing boundaries. Nothing has changed. :D:eek::D |

http://www.accringtonweb.com/forum/f...-all-6146.html Friendly, and straight to the point. Another 'no change there then'. ;):D The easiest way to find your own is to click on 'Search' at the top of the page, then click 'Advanced Search'. Put your own name in 'Search by User Name'. Underneath in 'Search in Forums' highlight you want to search the 'Introduce Yourself' thread, then press 'Search', bottom of page. Go to the last page of results, and see if there are any threads started by yourself. |
Re: How did you do, saying howdy do?
Good thread, Garinda .. shows how people have changed (or not .. :D).
Afraid I committed the sin of not introducing myself first and Gayle came to my rescue to coax me out of my shell. :) http://www.accringtonweb.com/forum/f...tex-17711.html |

You must have been practising your method acting, for a reticent part in a play at the time. Glad you soon got over your bashfulness. x :D |

Awww. See, I was a fan of your's from the start. Just as I was when I first met you. When you came to the Stag, post another Ossy Players production. |
Re: How did you do, saying howdy do?
I have to say can't remember posting an intro when I first joined but did when I returned after the glitch which kept of here for 12 months

Re: How did you do, saying howdy do?
I provided a mini biography, and the thread was described as 'friends reunited'

From that one post I realised your parents and my grandparents were neighbours, and you and my dad were in the same class at primary school. As now, full of interesting facts, though you didn't reveal your more mystic side until later. :D |
