Crash in Ossy?
Reece has just been passed Rhyddings Street on the bus and said there's been a crash, anyone know anything?

very quick that Daveyboy ;)

Re: Crash in Ossy?
Apparently the driver lost control as he swerved to avoid a car pulling out from the side of the road. He hit the corner of the terrace at Union Rd./Spring St. Which HAD a blocked up door way.

Re: Crash in Ossy?
Spring St? - that's a long way away from Union Rd:confused:
|
Re: Crash in Ossy?
Reece said he saw it as he passed on the bus going up Union Rd
|
Re: Crash in Ossy?
I think spider has misnamed the junction - Union Rd yes - Spring St -no
|
Re: Crash in Ossy?
I found Spring St on Google maps street view.
The 'boarded up' shop is the old chemists Emeric Eccles - so Spider was right. |

The car ran into the other corner, not the old chemists shop, which I don't think has never been boarded up. |
Re: Crash in Ossy?
That corner looks like this
Accrington, BB5 3LB, UK - Google Maps |
Re: Crash in Ossy?

Re: Crash in Ossy?
Reece always looks a nice boy in photos.;)
I like threads like this. I don't go out so I need this forum for the news that is happening beyond, but near, my doorstep. |
Re: Crash in Ossy?
Lol, i was originally only asking if anyone knew anything
|
Re: Crash in Ossy?
Had a quick sken just now, whilst going past.
Didn't see any damage on Emric Eccles's old shop, which is currently being refitted. There did look to be some, on the other corner, where Anthony Flanagan has his office. With barriers and tape, protecting what I presume was damaged by the crash. |
Re: Crash in Ossy?
Hope no one was hurt
