Smells Like A Drain?

I have a dishwasher, I have in the past mentioned on here a few things I have managed to wash in it.
But, although it isn't in use every day and indeed could be considered at times to be neglected.
I do wonder what on earth some people must be doing in or with their dishwashers that has an advert asking if it ever smells like a drain.
My answer is no, never, and if it did it would be down to not carrying out simple maintenance.

If you dishwasher did ever smell like a drain would you continue to use it or would you buy their product to mask the smell?
If you buy the product, I bet you should really have just spent some time cleaning the decaying food out of the filters, do that amd hey presto, no drain smell.

Yes, my dishwasher does sometimes smell like a drain........I must remember to make his food a little less rich....or get him to take the drainy smell upstairs and dispose of them down the lavvy!
Sorry Less! I actually don't have a dishwasher, but I do have a husband who does the dishes......no, I don't make him......he chooses to do it. I cook, he washes up. division of labour.
