I'm not a NEWBIE, but where else can I post that I have just posted my onethousand'th posting.? This calls for a glass of something, so by all means leave eme one behind the bar in the Peel Park.I greatly enjoy my membership and feel I should thank the moderators for the work they do for the site. Is is a site or a forum,? (Another question to ponder on - perhaps I should start a thread) I would like to write a piece for a magazineto say how this site licks all other town-based sites in the county - no the country.

Some of them make very interesting reading.

I am biased more towards quality than quantity, so tend to only to subscribe carefully thought out posts myself.

From what I've seen, comparing it to other forums, it is pretty unique, and special.

Personally I wish it didn't show a member's post count.

It adds no weight to what someone says.

If I do notice a person's post count, it's usually in amazement, at how small a number it is, compared to the contribution they've made to the site.

I do have days, when I read, but have nothing further to add. That even stretched to a couple of months. When the chatroom was very busy, and that seemed more fun that posting in the threads.

Sadly I am plagued by bees.

Who occasionally invade my bonny bonnet.

Which can easily cause me to rattle off fifty posts per day.

I'll buzz off now.

Happy in the thought, that this post won't be added to my embarrassingly high post count.
