Thanks Flashy! Happy Mother's Day back!

It's Father's day here tomorrow (St Joseph's day) and Mother's day is held on the 1st Sunday in May (the month of Mary!) -all very religiously connected.

My boys haven't remembered it since the days they used to make a card and hand-made pressie at Nursery school!

It's religious, Eric - should really be called Mothering Sunday... fourth Sunday in Lent. All to do with the Mother Church.

Mother Church?? I thought it had to do with Mother Up;) .... I still have a bottle in my basement. It somehow came with me when I moved from Saskatchewan; it's kind of a memento from my farming and ranching days.

Well you learn something every day... never heard of that but just looked it up. I wonder if you have some use in mind for your spare bottle?? Perhaps someone might land you with some orphan calves or lambs for your menagerie one day - you could try bonding them to your other critters?

Nah ... the stuff has an expiry date somewhere in 1985 ... but it works amazingly well. There is another method, but it is bloody and gruesome, not designed for the faint of heart, or stomach. It begins: "Skin one dead calf" ... And it's downhill from there.;)

So it's a while since you were a farmer then? And yes, I had heard of the other method...

I'd rather have a polar bear than a diamond any day.
