Quote of the day

I was just trawling the net & came across a discussion group the heading of which is:-

Old Hyndburn Forum

One of the contibutors had the following to say, "Chat about the good old days! Re-live your memories of Hyndburn of yesteryear. "

WHAT?? "Hyndburn" has only been in existence for thirty years. And to my recollection, None of them can be described, however loosley, as "the good old days".

Who put this drivel together?"

I don't know about you but I wish we could have someone as interesting as this on our site.

Your not wrong A-B, but you have to try hard to be interesting the other fellow seems to have a natural way with words.

What are you on about? The other fellow is me. I'm not sure that this town could cope with more than one of me! :D

Well shiver my whatsits you look so much younger over there! I didn't realise it was you, but now if you think about it that site must have been made for you:-
1/ Run by HBC. (plenty of material there for you to use)
2/Got plenty of links & threads that don't seem to be going anywhere until the big finish.
3/ They are heavily into re-cycling so all your past material from here can be used over there & be given a new lease of life.

So if A-B is running off to anther site - does that mean we will have to rely on you Less to come up with the interesting stuff? Oh dear - AccringtonWeb RIP!!!

I wouldn't worry too much about that other site. If everyone is having as much luck as I am trying to log in there'll be nobody there. I haven't even had a reply to my email to the admin to tell of my plight.

I can't find A-b's post on here about a poetry comp. can anybody remember seeing that and if so where was it?
