Should Fridges Have A Bio Health Warning?
I only ask because yesterday I decided to have some cheese on toast, now usually I can go through cheese like there's no tomorrow, for some reason the grated cheese I bought a month ago had been neglected when I took it out it had gone mouldy no way would I use it.
So how come when I got up this morning went to the fridge to get milk for my brew the cheese had been put back? I find myself doing this with a variety of items it's not as if the fridge has regenerative qualities and I know I'm not the only one why do we do this? |

Meanwhile I forgive you, though I doubt you will remember that when you move away from this post. :D |
Re: Should Fridges Have A Bio Health Warning?
My house mate asked me other day why I put an empty butter tub in the fridge :)

Re: Should Fridges Have A Bio Health Warning?
Is it to do with the hoarding instinct? I know I've done similar things, and I have a habit of putting empty boxes back in the cupboard instead of the bin - annoying habit!

Re: Should Fridges Have A Bio Health Warning?
I found a large, forgotten carton of Philly at the back of the fridge a couple of days ago- it was half finished but the surface had all mould spots on it. I put it back(??) but mentioned it to the boss.'Why on earth did you put it back?' she said. 'Well if I scrape the mould off it will be all right underneath, won't it?'
I was in pain for hours. |

This thread is really cool!!! I've done that ^^ with jam before (I am pretty sure this forum has taught me I am not a woman). I think 'fridges should also have a warning that if you keep returning to them again and again, you will get fat. |

It's not all bad, cashman,it's like I said on the 'Housekeeping' thread.
Dust and break something-no more dusting. Wash up and break a plate-no more washing up. Offer to make her a sandwich with mouldy cheese- I haven't been allowed in the kitchen since! |

I'm pretty much convinced beer does NOT go mouldy, as per what's been said, it's never around for long enough! I remember when I was young my Mother was tight as a maggots (insert nasty word) and would buy EVERYTHING in bulk, including industrial-sized punnets of stuff. She used to buy buckets of jam in every flavour , and more often than not when you went to use one you would find it had 'fermented' and you now were faced with a very alcoholic potent smelling sticky substance... I may try that myself come to think of it... |
