I wish I could!Nobody to cuddle at the moment!My man is like a hot furnace (a Canadian one!) but I'm not living with him any longer for the moment! Ugh. I feel like hibernating. It's not snowing here either - but it's a long way to come from Accrington. 28 degrees today, beautiful - but a bit hot the other week, got to 45 degrees. At least it warms the old bones. Greetings to you all at Accrington Web from South Australia.

Not snowing here either ... but the red warning signs are flashing up on the weather channel. I guess we are looking forward to an Alberta Clipper later today. High winds and 20 to 25 cm of snow. It's a balmy -20 or so rite now:D But it did get a tad chillier a couple of weeks ago ... down to about -40:hothothot Time to put another log on the fire, drink hot chocolate laced with fireball whiskey, crank up the Yoda bong, put on a movie .... mmm, maybe Pulp Fiction or The Good, the Bad, and the Ugly ... or maybe listen to Trane on vinyl. Greetings from the land of the 1000 Islands.;)

Storm's here ... and it's a doozy ... fairly mild ... about -14;); but with the windchill, about -25. Only about 20 cm so far; but it's still coming down like a sonofabitch.:hothothot

If you feel as if you need a purpose in life, I have an extra shovel in the trunk of my car ... and a fridge full of beer (even have a few bottles of Bomber in there.):D And a bottle of Pusser's rum, some rye, and moose burgers:dancedog:

It's the Standard ... great stuff:dancedog: The strong, for some dumb effin' reason isn't available in Canada. Strange, there's a shelf full of Bacardi 151 in the liquor store:confused: And it's not as if Canadians don't like strong drink, as you well know;)

Anyway .... still snowing like crazy; so, I give up on my driveway. Time to get liquored.:D And I think I'll thaw out some Bambi burger, and do some drunken chilli cooking:dflam: The joys of living alone:)

Well ... it's all done.:D I think we lucked out. Only 35 to 40 cm.;) Some places, esp. in the US north east got almost 90 cm. And the storm ... a perfect winter storm combining an Alberta Clipper and a Texas low ... is heading for the Maritime Provinces ... winds forcast up to 100 klicks and up to 100 cm. Poor sods.

Oh it sounds great -I'd love a winter like that once in a while. Cosy indoors with your beer and moose burgers and forget about the outside for a while. OK unless you have animals outside to look after, I mean cattle etc. Hope you and your critters are all safe and sound.
