As it's Shrove Tuesday is anyone having pancakes today? If so, how do you have yours?

Damn right I'm having pancakes ... used to love 'em with sausage and bacon and lots of maple syrup; but, alas, I have to watch what I eat:mad: So, now I have 'em with lemon and a light dusting of sugar.:D

Still haven't got the hang of flipping them tho' ...

By the by, do the still have the races?

You can't beat pancakes with lemon and sugar Eric - my boys prefer them with Nutella -yuk, way too sweet!
We'll be having some later!

I flip mine with a long spatula - always break them if I flip them in the air!

I don't make them anymore......unless the tinlids are staying for tea and today they aren't.
they like them with lemon and sugar, but also with blueberries(I cook the blueberries slightly with a little sugar to make a syrup).

I put white chedder cheese on my pancakes just on one side and let it melt the fold it , its really tasty .

Lol @tin lids not heard that in ages.
No I'm not having pancakes because I think they're horrible. Lol. But I will make some tomorrow for himself. :rolleyes:

Had mine a today (better late than never), sprinkled with lemon juice and sugar
