I Got 4 Quarter Pounders
 
Yes indeed, a local supermarket had them on oop's a pound of beef/horse/donkey, well whatever.

Grilled them and made butties, I've managed to eat three of them, starting to fade, who will sponsor me to eat the last one?

Hurry up, the fat is starting to congeal.

has anyone else noticed that since the horsemeat scandal ASDA's range of beef burgers has somewhat diminished in teh frozen section.For the past few weeks theres onl been one brand of two types of burger and neither claim to be %100 beef

birds eye i think they are which is kinda laughable seen as their main produce is fish lol

Don't normally buy scran from Asda. so no idea, Paris makes her own burgers wi minced steak from butchers. dearer n supermarket burgers, but i know what goes in em.;)

I also make my own burgers.......the only thing that goes into them is the minced steak, salt and pepper and a bit of minced onion. NO bread, no egg...if the mince is fresh and the pan is hot they never fall apart.
I also make them from minced Turkey...just as a variation.......I put a bit of sage and onion into these and there are never any left...which makes me think they must be alright.

I don't know if I should admit to this, but several weeks ago I got a double-pack of quarter pounders out of the freezer, and spent several minutes wondering why I couldn't find the pack weight (so I could use the weight defrost on the microwave).
