Don't You Just wish...
 

It's another advert thread I'm afraid, look away now if your sick of them!

There's an ad' about bread, a young lad sat at the table, telling his mother about a wonder bread his father has been telling him about.

Mummy seems to slap a sandwich in front of him, with pride that she is using exactly what the child describes.

Don't you just wish, that because Dad isn't there, poor old single Mum would turn around and say, 'until that miserable git stumps up for your maintenance, you'll have to put up with the cheap stuff I'm giving you, that reminds me, must ring the Solicitors in the morning!'.

I don't watch much TV, but over the last few years I've noticed an increase in "single parent" ads instead of the old ones that assumed family values.

It's sad to think that more people will be looking at these ads and subconsciously thinking "I'll buy that - because the people on the ad are like me"
