Happy Thanksgiving ...

That time of year again ... hasn't been the greatest year ... lost a couple of close buddies and my second ex-wife, all to cancer ... but, all in all, I have lots to be thankful for, as do most of us lucky enough to live here. Feast day is tomorrow: Wild turkey, and a couple of pheasant ... shot 'em myself ... retrieved by my best buddy Molly, a gun-dog without equal.:alright: And P.E.I spuds, veggies from Ontario, wine from Prince Edward County, beer from the Beer Store;) Pumpkin pie is store-bought ... never could get the hang of baking one of those.

So, I would like to wish all of you ... even the tories:D ... a Happy Thanksgiving:dancedog:

Not a bit like the one in the US, apart from the turkey and pumkin pie:D .... it's a lot like a good old fashioned Harvest Festival turned into a national holiday. Time to get together with friends, family, and drinking buddies:alright:

The US celebrates it the fourth Thursday in November and Canada the second Monday in October.
Visiting my son and family in the US for their Thanksgiving next month. :D
