Accrington Web - Beware Of Imitations!

In my local haunt it's mad Friday and packed, not a problem everyone enjoying themselves.
Then from somewhere in the crowd I hear, 'les are you having another pint?'
My heart skipped, someone wants to buy me a pint.
Nope wrong, there's another les in the house.
The guy shouting says ok another pint of bitter.
I'm amazed not often I'm in the same place as another les, unless it's a gay bar, but one that drinks bitter?
I watch the room carefully but can't see who this other guy is.
The call goes out again, I hadn't got half way through my pint.
Then again just as I was finishing my drink, nows my chance I thought get a refill and find this expert drinker.
I finally made my way through the crowd ordered my pint and discovered that Les Is a Lesley!
She just about came up to my shoulder, very petite and attractively feminine, but by heck she could sup.
I bet she would have walked out the pub straighter than the guys she was drinking with.
So, in future if you see me out having a drink, I'm not a real toper just a pale imitation.
