The people that work over Christmas to make sure the rest of us can have a good time.
Not just the emergency services, also the folk that look after our power, water, gas, electrickery for example, that will be there keeping us cosy, the people we take for granted.

Here Here. Spare a thought too for all the staff at pubs and other eating establishments
that help to make some peoples day cooking free. And ofcourse not forgetting the wonderful staff at our local hospitals who try and give the people who are in there over Christmas as happy a day as possible.

Dairy farmers still have to do it twice a day too ;) My husband has worked on Xmas Day for 25 out of 26 years we've been married because the cows don't know it's xmas and still need milking. The milk also has to be collected every day so the driver's are busy too! Happy Christmas one and all...

I used to work at associated dairies in Stanley Street on maintainance.We used to work on Christmas day if it was on our shift. Merry Christmas Dianne
