Being far more ept than our politicians, I can predict that prices of everything are likely to be higher in 2014.

Is there such a word as ept?

I know that 95% of our politicians are inept, but to be honest I've never heard anyone give any of them a compliment along the line of, 'hey, our Chancellor of the exchequer has really been ept with his fiscal policies' (maybe it will happen next year?).

Good luck with the Cherry Cola......I would drink the rum and sit looking at the cherry cola.

Sorry Margaret ept is one of those strange words that doesn't follow the alphabet, strangely, it appears in the dictionary next to gullible.

Blame my doctor for the cola, he said I should have more soft drinks, fortunately he didn't specify what I should dilute them with.

No doubt I will sprinkle it around my plants, when I can no longer get upstairs to the toilet.

Save the Cola for the morning Less just stick to the Rum, you don't want to be mixing your drinks now, it'll make you proper ill! :eek: :s_aim1:

At present I'm imbibing of "Herforder Weihnachtsbier" dark & delightful, with a rich roasted maltiness & with a pleasantly "who cares" numbing 5.8%, it'll be a pleasant evening. I may even join you in the Rum stakes later with a "Pusser's Navy Rum", also dark, aromatic & treacly with a brain mashing 54.5% ..... Cheers!
