First Recycling Day Of The New Year.

I'm not saying I had plenty of joy over the season but, how come they had to go and empty their wagon after picking up my empty tinnies and bottles?
:)

I put our blue sack out and white one out no box (not much in it)
But in the blue bag for plastic etc there was a plastic drainer (one you use for plates cups knife & forks) the guy took one look at it and threw it back into the front garden then emptied the sack in the lorry:confused:
So what was wrong with this bit of plastic (which is now in my wheelie bin):p

Ain't there a bylaw against littering? Or are HBC employees granted special dispensation allowing them to chuck stuff into peoples front gardens on a whim?

I suppose he (the refuse collector) thought no-one would notice it in Mick's front garden because of the mouldy three piece suite, the collection of rusting cars supported on house bricks and other such red neck paraphernalia that is gathered on his lawn.

I hasten to add none of these items are his, they are all items left out by his neighbours for various refuse collectors. It seems that they couldn't be bothered to take them away and just dumped the stuff over Mick's fence!
So something he actually owned is a plus.

:)

We had a party just after new year. Bottle box, full. Two blue sacks, full.

Recycling truck came and went, leaving the empty box and sacks, and I refilled them both immediately with the stuff I was too embarrassed to leave out.
