Dried up beans(been there since morning look to them)
Soggy chips
Watery gravy
Cappuccino doesn't fill the cup
Stirry sticks look like they have been split down the middle and halved- so I guess I'm supposed to have splinters on top rather than chocolate?

All this made up my tea in the local Walmart. But all I am truly bothered about is the tommy sauce. Nowhere to be seen with the salt n vinegar where it usually is. Nope you have to get it from the counter. Did they see me coming and shouted quick hide the condiments grrrrr

How about Wetherspoons grilled gammon steaks Rob? I am gonna buy the chef a scraper and wire brush so I don't get the carbonised residue from the previous punters grilling. They always serve it best side up and think you won't notice.

Whats the reaction if you hand it back saying, "Sorry chaps, this is not good enough" Maybe they will still keep churning out rubbish if enough people buy it???????

Pay when you order, Oh, that's asking for trouble. You've got to ask why they do that. Suspect from the start.

It should still be possible to send it back as unsatisfactory and either ask for it to be replaced or better still ask for your money back.
I would always be dubious about getting it replaced...you never know if those preparing the stuff have spit in your soup.
Best option is eat at Mum's...it is usually good grub and the bonus is...... it is usually free.

My mother had a bad habit. If she made something and you said you liked it she'd make it again and again, sometimes a few times a week, until after a year or so you got fed up of it and said so.
In a hurt voice she'd say 'But I only made it because you said you liked it!'

I have been getting adventurous with my food recently.
I put some mushrooms and radishes on my salad. That's about the limit of my cooking.
I have lived for over 76 years without the need to eat in those fast food outlets and it hasn't harmed me.
From birth I have never eaten meat, fish, poultry, cabbage, mashed potatoes, soup, bacon, foreign food, carrots, anything mushy (apart from peas), plenty more too much to mention.
It's not because I am a vegan or such like, I just can't stand the look of the stuff even. Parents tried hard to get me to eat those things when I was a child but to no avail. It is a bit awkward in hotels or when I was tramping the Country and staying in digs but I survived and am no 8 stone weakling.
