Personally,I couldn't work in the industry of death but for 40k a year I'd be tempted.

Apparently the Chinese perfected the art long before WW2.
My uncle Jack worked for Thornbers chicks Mytholmroyd before the war and learnt the trick, he was not allowed to leave the firm until after the war,,chicken sexers were very few and far between.
He then set his own company hatcheries up in Poulton le Fylde where he made a great deal of money, he taught my aunty the job as well.
Eventually selling everything to McAlpine who built houses on the site.
40K a year is not a lot for such a demanding stressful job which requires concentration.
I've mates driving tankers on more for 45 hour week.

I can understand it back in the day what with not having the machinery or technology of today, I say, fair play to your uncle he obviously seen something most folk didn't.

I've searched for chicken sexer jobs and couldn't find any,perhaps that's where they are failing,I'm sure if they put 40k a year for looking between chicks legs they'd have a better response;)

I can't believe folk are bringing home 40k+ for driving tankers, I'm in the wrong job ;)

Defiantly not for me then,If I wanted to stare at chicks all day and try to work out their gender I'd go to Thailand.

Apparently,the males are gassed and separated so they can be ground up....:sick:
