Me too.
Did it on my iPad......don't know how to do a screen shot or I would have furnished evidence.
I enjoyed doing that one. It wasn't what I expected.

I got the same result, it also said I was very patient.
Don't understand why, I've been spotting flaws, faults, and discrepancies most of my working life, it was part of the job when I was serving my time at Lang's
.

Re: Proper clever me!

Yes, I think that if you had any job that required you to be observant you would do alright in this test

Oh Cashy...that isn't what you are supposed to say.
You are supposed to tell us that you are also in with the top 4%.........and that you are just acting dumb :D

I clicked on "this test" in your post Dave and guess what, nothing happens.
I'll try again in the morning when the grog wears off.

Apparently I'm in the top 4% also. Bit of a shock to me - won't tell you what his nibs said when I told him my result - after he stopped laughing that is, especially about the patient bit. I'm inclined to agree with Cashy's comments.

I'm dubious at best about intelligence quizzes and this one is no different....

....It put me in the top 4%-surely that can't be right :D

Only 5% of world population speaks english and understands the questions

'In the mid-20th century, nearly 9 percent of the world's population grew up speaking English as their first language. In 2050, the number is expected to be 5 percent. "Population growth amongst speakers of languages other than English has been greater," Graddol said.26 Feb 2004'

No Gremlin mate, "this test" at the end of the actual article & as it appears you'll probably also be part of the top 4% like so many of us. :D

I am afraid to show my ignorance - probably couldn't get in to it anyway

Re: Proper clever me!

About three months after starting secondary school, my Daughter proudly came home with a letter from her maths teacher inviting her to take a test for junior mensa. Of course her mother and I were proud to read such a missive and told her that it was her choice she could decide to take the test or not. She told us she would think about it.

A few days later I asked her if she had decided to take the test.

Her reply proved to me that she didn't need to take any test to prove her intelligence, it was something like this:-

"Well dad, I've decided that I won't take the test, after all, they charge a fee, I think it would be a bit stupid to spend good money just to get a Certificate proving what people putting me forward for the test already think I am".
:dork:

Margaret I have never been away so I can't come back.

If the broth needs a stir, you are just as capable as I, you have as many keys @ your disposal on your keyboard, just alter the pattern of how you display them.
:)

You might not have been'away' in the true sense of the word, but you have been absent from posting.
And yes, I know I am capable of stirring the pot(it is definitely something I have done in the past)......but sometimes a bit of help is appreciated.:)

You are a bad influence, I have only posted once in this thread 'on topic', the others (including this one), have been 'off topic' answering you!

Are you perhaps working towards having me banned?
;)

And he's back! With such panache & style too, proper clever that (smoothly sliding us back onto topic ....... sort of :D)
