Man lives on the 80th floor of a block of flats. In the morning he gets in the lift and presses ground floor and goes to work. When he returns home from work he takes the lift to the 40th floor and walks the rest of the way. Why?

Hes a midget and can only reach up to button 40.

There is an extention to this in that on dry days he goes up to floor 30 and walk, but on rainy days he goe up to floor 60(He has an umbrella so can push higher buttons)

The Antony and Cleopatra one.......did they die of thirst?? Coal,carrot etc..... there had been a snowman on the lawn and he had melted. The Car one...... he was playing monopoly and the hotel charges cleaned him out. The others are too hard, for I am a bear of very little brain....... but I knew the lift one.

The man in the bar had hiccups. He wanted to try to get rid of them by drinking a glass of water but the shock of having a gun drawn on him did the job. The barman realised his problem because he hicupped when he asked for the water.

on a farm there are 3 fields, in one field there are 7 stacks of hay, and in the second field there are 8, there are none in the third field, the farmer then combines all the haystacks from the first and second fields into the third field...how many haystacks are there now?
