Moving Clock ??

The alarm clock that hides

Gone are the days of pressing snooze well into the afternoon - a new alarm clock moves around the bedroom so you have to get up to turn it off.

The not-so-originally named "Clocky" wakes up when the snooze button is first pressed, rolling off the bedside table and wheeling off to another part of the room.

When the alarm goes off five minutes later, the sleepy owner is forced to forgo the comfy confines of bed and go searching for the device to stop it beeping.

US scientists behind the new device reckon that this game of hide-and-seek is more than enough to ensure the clock's owner gets up on time, the New Scientist reports.

The team at Massachusetts Institute of Technology has even made Clocky intelligent enough to find a different hiding place each morning, ensuring excitement every day of the week.http://directnews.dehavilland.co.uk/...itemid=8100977

And for those of us who cannot afford "Clocky" there is always the old fashioned technique of simply not having the alarm clock next to the bed so that you have to get up to switch it off anyway. :D

My youngest is an absolute nuisance as you might have seen on tv,she is up really really early, and you have to be on your guard or she raids the fridge......i put a lock on the old one and she ripped it off, she's only 3 but has the strength of a horse.
