I'll let you into a little secret what I do with mine Slinky (luckily he only snores after one to many beers) Roll him ever so gently to the end of his side of the bed, draw your legs up behind his back and then kick out hard. Act all inocent when he hits the floor and looks all shocked then blame him for waking you by falling out of bed and tell him you need him to go down stairs and make you a nice milky brew to help you get back to sleep. By the time he's brewed up you have had enough peace to go to sleep ;) There sorted :D

LMAO TINKS I like that one and could be putting that into practice tonight.
But I would say..............while you are not safe in bed you may have to sleep on the sofa, so if ya fall off it is nearer to the floor:D is that convincing?

Send him to the doctors and get him refered to an ENT consultant. He may need an operation but it is better to do it while he is younger. If it is a soft pallet problem it may become harder to operate in years to come. Is he excessively tired during the day? He may have sleep apnea. Its worth checking it out.

i have sinus problems and recently had a CT scan on my swede. Waiting to see consultant again in a few weeks to see if he is going to drill holes in my head to help me. ( very unpleasant but the sooner I have it done the sooner i will feel the benefits )

You could always use ear plugs.....

Re: cure for snoring??

Ear plugs are OK up to a point.........but they don't cut out all the noise.
I listen to my personal stereo if Hubby's snoring is really bad and I usually find that i fall asleep listening to the music.
Hubby says he doesn't snore......he says it is me who snores.

I think the tendency to snoring increases as we get older.......and also if you are a bit overweight. No offence meant to anyone!
