weekend and evening job wanted
 

hi, i am 16 years old; live near accrington and am looking for a weekend and evening job.
i will be going to college in september and want to gain some experience in work. i already have experience in working in a kitchen as an assistant chef (worked there for 18months). however, work has died down and they have had to let me go.
my GCSE predictions are all of a high standard and i have already gained my English GCSE in which i got an A.
i am an outgoing and confident person who will try my hand at pratically anything!
i've asked around the market and no one seems to be taking on at the moment.
does anyone know of anywhere else i can apply to?

you could try accy/blackburn market, just go around the stalls and ask if they want any weekend staff, you've more chance in blackburn because they have more stalls, ask in the shops too, you never know.....the worst that could happen is that they say 'no'... AND it gives you more confidence by talking to strangers.....good luck

ive already been around both blackburn and accy markets and both say theyre fully staffed at the mo

i know there is a job going at Jack Fultons on Broadway in Accrington, i think it's fulltime though, you could always pop in and ask

You could also try Home and Bargain on East gate......they usually want people there and they do stay open late some evenings.
