Joiner Needed.
 
Hi all, im looking to have a new loft hatch with built in loft ladder fittted plus i need the loft boarding with chipboard.

I will supply all parts I just need someone to do it as i want it to look good.

Its a middle terraced house.

Ill give you a hand if you need it.

looking to have it done in the first week of august.

hi i converted my own loft into another bedroom, can have a look at yours if you want, will probably take a couple of weekends as work commitments during week. you can pm me

check your roof joists are big enough to take your weight, most terraced houses only have 3x2 which isn't load bearing, if in doubt consult a time served joiner

thanks duggie for that info i am a time served joiner and yes the joists are 3x2 but you fail to mention that it would depend on the function of the loft and how many ground based walls to distribute the load there are

With you on this one except they may only be 3x1/2,definitely not load bearing as a rule and the ceiling hangers are probably shot at.
