Semi Skilled Labourer/Improver
 

Required asap for Loft Conversions.

Need all the normal stuff hard working, physically fit, good head for heights, a passion for construction, expert coffeee maker....

My old labourer could do all of this but a couple of these will do & you will learn the rest.

1st Fix Joinery/Stud Work (rough but structurally sound)
Fit Velux roof windows in Slate & Tile
Plasterboarding
Fit uPVC Windows & glass
Basic Roof work
Mix a decent mortar
Use basic tools & have an idea on most joinery power tools

Bad bits
Work is all over the North West & I can only provide a lift from Acc
Some times its really hot & really dirty in a loft
All materials have to be lifted up 2 floors into the roof space, we need a lad more Mighty than Mouse.
We chase the dollar so can be some late days when not enough dollar has been rounded up!

Good bits
Regular work with a long order book
Very few "wet" days
An opportunity to learn joinery, many aspects of construction, some electrics, window fitting, roofing, project management etc etc

hi there this is just a quick response in ref to the add you posted, i have friends and family looking out for me here there and everywhere and i was sent the link to this add ref skilled labourer, im currently in the last few months of college doing a refresher joinery course day release tue and thurb ( thur due to being unemployed) and in search of regular work, i have some tools and a full uk license.
