Burger king

Hello,
I was just wondering if anyone knows who owns the franchise for Accy BK? The official site just comes up with an error msg & has done for last few weeks.

Does Accy have a BK, nearest I can think is near Asda at Blackburn.

I think the jobs went through the jobcentre

Maybe because people need to work and earn money.

Because they're prepared to get off their arse & are not to prideful to take any work, rather than rely on the social for everything, unlike some people.

does anyone know what time the food court closes? there's a door on the outside of the arndale so i'm assuming it will be open later than the arndale....maybe?

The Food Court operator is CPL Foods, based in Ipswich

The food place opens at 10 am each morning and closes at 6pm......Monday to Saturday...don't know the Sunday opening times.

Not sure there will be much job security tho if this is the standard of food they're selling:

Parents? shock over mouldy burger bun served in Accrington Burger King (From Lancashire Telegraph). :hidewall:

Why does it close at 6pm? That is very early

are you kidding the mould is a side order at accy KFC and has to be paid for :D

it helps absorb the blood after you have bitten into one of their chicken legs that could have done with a few extra mins in the frier

I don't know Neil...maybe there is only tumbleweed blowing through Accrington after 6pm.
It isn't really like there are a lot of social venues which lead hungry punters to want feeding.

They're not open at all on a Sunday, went past last weekend & it was all shut up - thought for a minute it had closed altogether but then caught sight of a small notice on the window with their opening times on it

Must have changed their times recently. Was open the first Sunday in January when we called. Have heard they are struggling to make a go of it. Did somebody oversell the town instead of being straight ?

Margaret Pilkington 06-02-2014 16:06

Re: Burger king

It doesn't surpise me that they are struggling.
They need to open before 10am. People would perhaps go in for a coffee and a breakfast muffin.

BK could have a breakfast club or at least a trial for a couple of weeks to see how it goes?
Burger King have been in the food game since the mid 50's and one thing I have always liked about them is you can ask for extra salad FREE with your burger and everything should be made to order.
I don't work for them by the way!

Re: Burger king

Burger King are now open on Sundays, should anyone feel the need to visit on that particular day... They have had a sign outside for a couple of weeks.
