It wasn't that high when it went over our estate, I reckon it cleared teh trees by about 30 foot. Julie said there was a Pendle Witch one went over teh day before in the morning even lower!

Was sat outside the Rising Bridge having walked up there for a pint when a Pendle Balloons Landie with trailer came past, watched the balloon settle in a field o'er tops.

The 'pilot' had to give it a fair amount of burn in order to avoid landing somewhere he shouldn't have :eek:

Ive seen quite a few of hot air balloons this week regulars are the pendle witch one amongst others think they are all from same place in pendle, Burnley have a yearly balloon fest every august

I wouldnt like to be on one of those im scared of heights lol

The pendle witch ballon landed on Moorhead school field around 9pm on Tuesday. I had an excellent view of it from my front bedroom window.

I went up in a balloon at the Burnley balloon fest a couple of years ago, I`ts the strangest feeling, you feel like you are on solid ground but everythings growing smaller around you. Give it a bash, I don`t think you`d be disappointed!

I would love to do this i have always wanted to go up in a balloon.

Always think there is something magical when i see a hot air balloon flying. It's one of the signs of summer that i look forward to.

When my hubby used to go skydiving he and a couple of his mates actually "Jumped" out of a balloon.(Well the basket attached that is)
