Its over 12 months since my last visit there, the bare spaces left by the felling operation is fast being filled with pine saplings.

They were still felling when we were up there,we could hear the machinery in the trees.

Very atmospheric.
Would not like to be stranded in that countryside....looks hostile(but maybe that's because I am a softy).

That`s more sensible than soft, get lost out there and you`re in big trouble, we stuck to the West Highland Way.

3rd year we`ve been this time of year, last year was amazing with lots of snow, this year it`s been lots of rain, it`s the gamble you take.

I have only ventured to Scotland twice...Once to Edinburgh on a train day trip(loved it) and Gretna Green for a wedding.......that was OK, but didn't see much.
