As you say a very relaxing 6 minutes, and I like the use of black and white sections, plus the sunsets at the end put a full stop to the trip.

thanks for giving it a go, the maximum pictures you can post per day is 10, and they should be re-sized down to 500kb for best results.

Whatever a wild camp is, good luck.

Re: Lancashire three peaks

wild camp:- carry everything you need up a hill (ok to camp on most hills) stay there get the sunsets and the sunrise, added bonus if clear sky, sleep under the stars!!!!

trying to get my photos down to 6 out of the loads that i take, so will give it a try.

Really good. The choice of music good as well. Mozart and the Lancashire fells, doesn't come much better that.

Love it Darren -thanks for that -took me out of meltdown for 6 minutes!

How I wish I was there x

How I wish I could climb Pendle just once more and see the whole world from the top of it!
But that was nearly as good.

And having spent many hours trying to make holiday videos with music which were worth watching I know how much work went into this one. Good work, churchfcrules.

churchfcrules 25-08-2012 16:11

Re: Lancashire three peaks

im glad some of you like it, and thanks for comments, Gordon got me thinking,(dangerous), but if there are any Accywebbers that cant get up the fells anymore, either physically or geographically, if you tell me which fells i can try and capture the essence of them for you, so if anyone has any requests let me know and i will see what i can do

thanks for looking Darren

cheers Diane, i guess its one of those things, you dont understand it till you have done it.

i try to capture the essence of where i am, i hope i achieve that someway, but i understand some will just see hills, trees, a sheep, whatever, but the main image isnt "the picture"

thats what i look for in a picture, i see it quite a lot on yours and others peoples posts,

the weather was BRILLIANT, quite cold at night, and as i woke up in shadow, (i chose west facing edge to capture the sunset, plus east facing was rather steep), i got warm by standing up at the summit!!!! weird

back to the photos, is there not a weekly photo comp on here, i see there are a lot of avid photographers?
just for fun thing would be good, would force people like me to be more selective with photos.

I feel your energy and its positive -a competition might make things degenerate -given the nature of man! Am enjoying your contribution for what it is - energy, art and positivity. The contact with nature is strong and I can identify with that. Just wish i could have been there...:)

aw shucks, such nice comments, thank you!

glad somebody gets it, and its not just me, glad you watched the videos though i think the music adds so much more, that and the ken burns effect

point taken, about comp

I was going to make the same point about a competition - I fear it would have a negative effect. At the moment it's free and easy, people post what they want when they want, with no sense of being better or worse than anyone else and that's how it should be.

Not necessarily -just as long as it remains a friendly idea. Have to think of a non-biased theme.:)

About the competition -I just had a look at the Gallery (top of page) and it looks like there have been a lot of competitions before, though they seem to have stopped -don't know how they worked though -I suppose you could ask one of the Mods if they could be done again...

Re: Lancashire three peaks

the competitions were abandoned some while ago because of a glitch in the system to upload pictures.
Darren, I have just looked at both the youtube clips.........I absolutely loved them. Was ever so slightly envious of some of your photographic shots.
There were elements of many of my favourite(photo) things......even bikes!
The music was wondeful too. The Mozart is one of my very favourite pieces. Brilliant.
I can't add comments to your Youtube stuff because I do not have an account........but it would get the thumbs up from me. Loved it!
