PLEASE READ THE RULES BEFORE UPLOADING TO THE COMPETITION
PLEASE READ THE RULES ON EACH COMPETITION AS THERE MIGHT BE SLIGHT CHANGES FOR A COMPETITION THANKYOU

Each competition will run for 2 weeks, 12 days for uploading photo's and a further 2 days which can be used for voting only.

After the 12 day upload period, voting only will be allowed for 2 days then voting will be stopped.

Anyone can vote, you don't have to enter the competition to be entitled to a vote but it is 1 vote per person.

The winner will get to choose a theme for the next competition.

( You won't need to do anything else, the moderators will create the folder to be uploaded too)

UPLOADING ends at 10pm on the Friday night, you have 48 hours to VOTE (until 10pm Sunday UK time)
The winner then has 12 hours to PM Mick with the next THEME (PLEASE PM DO NOT POST THE NEW THEME ON SITE I COULD MISS IT PM ONLY PLEASE)
if I have not been contacted within this time Mick will pick the Next theme.

In the event of a tie the person who chose the theme will decide on the winner.

upto 5 entries are allowed per person.

Anymore than this will be removed, your 1st 5 uploads will stay - later ones will be removed.

All images must be your own work, Or close family.

Scanned,(from your own photos) digital, phone, video stills are all allowed,
(please don’t use images off the Internet or from magazines or from postcards as we don’t want Accyweb getting into trouble for hosting copyright images).

You will retain copyright of all your images.

No photo's to be removed from the photo competition by any member except mods or admin.

Photo's altered with image editing software will be allowed.

Closing date for this competition is 22:00pm on Friday 20th Sept 2013
and voting will be allowed up to 22:00pm on Sunday 22nd Sept 2013

NOTE

It would help me if all members that have entered the competition are on line at the closing of the competition,

so i can set the next competition up quickly thank you .

I know its not all ways possible but if you can it would help
I hope you all enjoy and enter some great photos
and we can make this a great success like it was before

Last time I looked yesterday Turtle and I were neck and neck on 3 votes each -I was thinking, just in case, of a category and came up with Food and Drink -weird coincidence! :D

That's amazing! Great minds think alike? Must be something in the air LOL. No seriously, this is such a bountiful season, and I thought a theme in keeping with it might work. It doesn't have to be a literal depiction of food and drink either - a billboard or advertisement, a sculpture of something eating something else perhaps. The world is full of things like that!

It doesn't have to be a literal take on the theme either. I really liked your interpretation of Street Art in the last Comp. for example (I voted for one of your photos!)

Had another look at the gallery for this comp to see the latest photos and there is something strange happening - one of the photos has had nearly 10,000 views and a number of others also seem to have had really high views. Hope it isn't some kind of problem like a virus or something...

I did actually contact Mick via a p/m to find out if he knew what was going on when the numbers started to rise so high by leaps and bounds - would be great to think so many people are viewing all the photos, but I doubt it. At first I thought it was very funny but then started to worry a bit about it. Mick thought it was probably a glitch of sorts, and, as he pointed out, the end result is determined by votes anyway - not views.
Best wishes to all - and many thanks to the almost 10,000 viewers, bit of a boost to my self-esteem - this said tongue-in-cheek of course. Cheers!!!!

There might be a glitch, had a look at one it had 66 views, logged out & then back in and it had jumped to 69, tried it with another and that jumped by 3 views in less than 10 seconds.

I just had a looksee and counted that 19 people have cast a vote which is possibly better than in previous competitions. Still quite spread out but there are 3 main contenders so it's going to be interesting to see who gets that extra vote!

Congratulations to a worthy winner! Well done! Have to confess though, as much as I liked the cake photo - very professional looking cake btw, talk about hidden talents, I did rather fancy the two blokes eating fish and chips - well I didn't actually fancy the blokes but I DID fancy the f and c's. Brought back great memories of good old Lancashire fish and chips, could even taste them when I saw the photo. Hence it got my vote.
Nevertheless Mick, your photo deserved to win and I'm sure the cake was much appreciated, although mention of a Nursing Home is a bit too close for comfort these days - oops!
