Hard to transmit the emotion of a memory - my photo of my husband's first National win with a cow called Diana (my namesake though I'm sure he loved her more than me!) for me recalls the apex of a year-long effort to have her in perfect form for the show - I used to massage her udder after each milking with a special cream -it was a real team effort with my sons involved too. We could never have imagined it would have have happened 3 times in a row - a record. But the first time is always the sweetest ;)
