Ok one to make you think a bit
Competition 35 is now open for uploads

Margaret Pilkington 20-04-2014 21:17

Re: New Photo Competition 35

This one should be easy. You can google the various alternative Bingo calls...and go from there. I hope there are more entries and that this time around more people will vote.

Re: New Photo Competition 35

well, I have made a start...maybe it will give you some ideas......especially if you know two fat ladies!

I don't know any obese ladies but, I'd like to try my hand at bingo calling.
I wind the old dears up by putting my own spin on it..."5 and 4...9" :D

Re: New Photo Competition 35

That is just being perverse. You would be thrown out on your......erm.....ear!
I am not a fan of bingo, but I have been on lots of coach holidays with Ma.
It is taken very seriously. I was once told off for talking during a session. I wouldn't care but the top prize was only a box of Malteasers.

Anyway, you should be out looking for pics that represent bingo numbers.....key of the door......dirty knees etc.

Re: New Photo Competition 35

It's a very interesting choice of subject Margaret - should give plenty of scope for photos.

I will need to google some of the numbers though - clickety-click ;)

I thought it might just be universal(most people will have played this game at some point in their life)...and give good scope for not just pictures, but the interpretation of the theme.
Plus, it was hard thinking of something original. In fact I hoped that your pic would win to save me scratching at my old grey cells.:)

Re: New Photo Competition 35

well, that's it. My five are in...now let's see what you can do :)

I have managed a few also.
I have only ever played bingo once, 1966 in Merthyr Vale.
Me and three mates had drunk 12 pints between us and we won four quids.
There was a bit of bad feeling from the Taffs because we were taking their money back to England.

I struggled with this one too, Eric. Margaret's link has helped me a lot. I think I'll leave '69' alone though!

My mind boggles ... I'm wondering what kind of contortionist it would take to make a selfie out of that one.

By the way ... never entered a photo competition on here. How does one do it?

we are not asking you to run 10k or even 5k or even to get off the settee all we ask is you sit down with your favourite drink and have a look at the entries in the competition and then vote.
its just 2 clicks of the mouse wont take much of your energy or time
thanks

Re: New Photo Competition 35

Thanks to everyone who took part, the more who do the better the comp is. Sent Mick PM with new theme (hopefully he got it, might even get it twice:) ) used a suggestion by Margaret from the theme suggestion thread, hopefully it will prove to be a theme with plenty of input, I think I could take nearly any pic i`ve took and find some kind of link to the theme.
Happy snapping,
GPick.

Thanks, for the record my vote went to your duck and a crutch. It was close between them for a while and I think someone removed a vote from your pic for some reason (never understood why someone would do that)
