Waving at trains

I have a tip for those of you that like waving at trains.

It is absolutely fine to wave at trains, but not when you are on a see-saw with your back to them.

If you happen to be on a see-saw with your back to a train that you want to wave at, it is best to disembark first.

Otherwise you are likely to fall off and break your collarbone.

That's exactly what happened to my 3 year old daughter yesterday.

I thought I would pass that on as I am sure that there are many people here who love to wave at trains!

She is ok until the effects of the Calpol wear off, then she gets a bit upset.

My wife took her to the Kent & Sussex Hospital yesterday as she was obviously in pain, but it took the staff an age to decide to actually get her x-rayed; up until then my wife got the impression that they thought she was just an over-anxious mother.

But if she hadn't taken her, and your daughter had been left in pain, then you would have been bad, naughty, naughty, parents and she would have been taken into care, you should just buy lottery tickets you have more chance of winning that way than by being a parent.

P.S. I hope she can learn from the experience,
pain=bad
No pain =big cuddles from mum & dad!

Hospital staff are getting worse I think.
My little brother had to go into hospital yesterday for a operation on his testicano's!!!!!
He is only 9 years old. The majority of the staff are high an mighty in a uniform and down right ignorant.
My little brother had slept for almost 13 hours after the operation and felt quite groggy. So no suprise this morning he was awake at 6:30am. One nurse came round and said ''would you like anything''? my brother replied ''please could I have my colouring book and crayons to colour with please''? so the nurse got them for him. Ten minutes later another JOBS WORTH came round and said to my mum ''do you think he should be colouring at this time in the morning'? my mum explained that he had been asleep for almost 13 hours and was wide awake now. The nurse then went on to explain that any noise made on the ward echo's and that he may wake the man across the ward up (may I add that the noise of the man snoring would have beat a earthquake hands down).
The nurse then went back to the nurse station and started banging metal drawers and having a good old laugh with another nurse. BRI is all I have to say to this. Get it shut down and lets move to a bettter more nicer place QUEENSPARK!!!!

Yeah, Vorlon......hope she is soon fully recovered.

And slinky.....I agree with that sentiment too....QPH is much better.
I worked at BRI for 9 months and it did my head in......I told my manager 'get me out of here or I'm going to jump'.
Hope your little brother is soon well, too.
