MOT Testing

This should be in tips sedtion i know but i think its something that most people on here will be interested in so i put it here. If you want a MOT i suggest Antley MOT centre on Blackburn Road near Church traffic lights. My corsa needed abit doing to it but i needed it for tomorrow. So they said they would do the work there and then showed me what needs doing and explained everything to me. I felt like i was important to them and i even got a cup of tea. The test fee was £39 which i think is about the same everywhere else. But the speed which they sorted my car out for me and the effiency was second to none. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

Nice to get a good report about a garage. :)

Assuming it actually needed the work doing to it. I have a deep rooted mistrust of people in the motor trade.

Cough, this is teh same place that did an MOT on one car that turned out to be a cut n shut and another car that we know about who passed a car for Central car sales that had such dodgy brakes that they ended up through a wall at the bottom of Ormerod street injuring both driver and passenger.

make your own mind up but I certainly wouldn't trust them with mine.

(Entwisi) just using Julies laptop

RRP for a MOT is £44.15 but its down to the garage, a few garages do them for free if you have a service at the same time.:engsmil:

None have been my cars but are people we know.

I've used Tinkerbrook before as well, seemed OK, As said, Grange lane is my current garage of choice

Always take ours to John E Hill on Barnes St in Accy, never had a problem there, always fits it in last minute as well.
