dog advice
A friend of mine has a dog and its getting on a bit now, the problem is the dog sometimes has trouble walking, because of arthitis, they have tried them chews to help joints, which do work but they are too expensive. does anyone know if there is a cheaper alternative to them which could help the dog?
i thought of cod liver oil. is it ok to give the stuff we use? or will she be better of going to the pet shop and buying the expensive stuff:rolleyes:, even if it is the same stuff:rolleyes: |

Re: dog advice
B& M Bargains has the Glucosamine Chewy stick in super strength for 99 pence for 7 days worth...same thing at Asda is £3.78 ....they are bob martins brand too, so should be much more.
We give Gizmo one of these every day because we know that jack russells often have arthritic joints. Hope this helps. |
Re: dog advice

Re: dog advice

Re: dog advice
my dog is getting on a bit now but for last 2 years i,ve been giving him flexi-joints tablets from healthspan which you can get on line £10- 90p for 240 tablets which is quite reasonable, takes 2 tablets a day, it depends on the size of the dog, mines a border collie, seems to do alright on them. marg.

Re: dog advice
Try Holland and barret for Glucosamine capsules..excellent for dogs who suffer from Arthritis..also for any medium build breeds that are prone to joint problems..
