R.s.i
I think i have R.S.I in my middle finger on my right hand (and i'm being serious before anyone starts NEIL) i think i've done it with having my hand on the mouse a lot(now stop thinking of something rude) its annoying when you cant use all your fingers to type like i'm used to doing
anyone got any tips on how to stop mi poor finger hurting?:( |

If it was your arm or something, ya could try deep heat or something, but ya can't put that on your finger, cos the numpty you are, you would end up rubbing your bloody eyes or something :hesoff: |

Re: R.s.i
Well, Flashy sweetheart, if you use summat too much will go numb ... :D:D
Switch yer mouse to the other side, will soon get used to it .. heard a little on the radio today, that we are all born ambidextrous .. just social things that try to make us, in the main, right handed. So looks like possible to retrain yer brain to refrain from strain to avoid the pain. sos .. |
Re: R.s.i
lol cheers Kate, i think i need to start slowing down with the typing too, i do it too fast :D

Re: R.s.i
Try hitting another finger with a hammer; it won't cure the RSI but it will take your mind off it !;)

Re: R.s.i
try a different type of rodent, I get aching wrist if I use a mouse, So I use either touchpad or at work I have a trackball, that stops me having any problems

i have a different one on mi laptop Ian, but thats naffed so i cant use that |
Re: R.s.i
so buy one, there are different trackballs, some use your thumb to move teh ball, some use fingers, you have to find out which one suits how your brain is wired, I prefer using my index finger to move the ball my thumb as left click and my 3rd finger for right click.
I use this one Logitech Cordless TrackMan Optical - trackball : Read reviews and compare prices at Ciao.co.uk Its teh best I've found by a country mile. |
Re: R.s.i
cheers for that Ian, i'll have a look just as soon as my pc stops being so slow
|
Re: R.s.i
I find trackballs wierd at first but you do get used to them. I still find the mouse easier though.
