HELP!!! i've just burnt myself

Being the stupid clown that i am, i was trying to light a fag up but my lighter wouldnt work, i put the lighter to my ear to see if i could hear any gas coming out of it....and i accidently flicked it and burnt mi ear :(

now its sore and i cant stop laughing

what can i put on/in my ear?

what helps burns?

Needs to be kept cool. Have you any ice that you could wrap in a tea towel and hold on the area for about 10 to 15mins?

a fine piece of advice, however if she doesn't have any ice she could always put her head in a bucket of water for about the same amount of time.

Seriously, if you know any one going to the Canary Islands, ask them to bring you back an Aloe Vera plant. They are dirt cheap there, easy to care for, and if you get a burn you just cut off a leaf, and let the gel sooth the pain. It works really well.

I used son's Drapolene cream when I got burnt (when he was a baby of course ..:D) .. ok realise 'tis for yer bum really, but was effective in all areas of burn pain.

Actually, burnt me own ear yesterday on hair straighteners .. just left .. healing well in the open air.

I know burns, and fire, as discussed the other night, are a serious issue.
