OUCH!!!! hurty feet

Bought some new flip flops today, the tops of them are leather and whilst i was walking around in them they started rubbing the tops of my feet, and now i have ickle red sores

Has anyone any suggestions on how to soften the leather so they wont rub anymore??

I think it might involve a litle wee wee....and it does work to take out the soreness......I'm not sure about it softeneing the leather though.

I have done it when my feet were really blistered, so i know it works.....but at present my feet are Ok......no blisters, no sore red places where the skin is chafed off......and that is because i choose shoes for comfort rather than fashion.....OK, I know that is SAD.

me too......as a student nurse my feet were very sore......and it was my Dad who told me to do this. I thought he was having a joke at my expense, but he assured me it would make my feet feel better....and he was right.

Seriously now, not like me I know but once got told by a leather repair guy who did some work for me on our suite is use anything on leather that you would use on your face, and if you wouldn't put it on your face dont put it on the leather

Not much help Flashy, but just put my shoe stretcher thingy in. ya' know the ones that remind you of a torture rack, keep turning the screw 'til it gives you the correct width :D .. always works for me.

Seen some advertised shoes , go by the name of 'FIT-FLOPS'. On Sale at Boots. (use yer points!! They cost approx £36 as they are ergonomically designed and take a bit of practice to walk in. I am getting some next week, will keep you posted.
