Baby food stains!
Hiya anyone any tips for getting baby food stains out of clothes, (why is baby food always orange!).:)
Thank you. x |
Re: Baby food stains!
Isnt there one of those stain pens for that?

Re: Baby food stains!
I would probably try my trusty Melalueca Pre-Spot. I've never used it on baby food because by the time I knew about it I had got past babies but it seems to work on other stains including beetroot juice and spag bol.

Re: Baby food stains!
Use bibs!..:D
i used to use one of those bibs with sleeves, on my kids, they worked a treat;) If ya find summat that does get stains out , tell us what it is. Im thinking of using that vanish, but its too expensive! |
Re: Baby food stains!
"Shout" spray seems to work on most things, cat vomit included.

Re: Baby food stains!
you can't. its not possible. Instead buy clothes off ebay at ~£1 an item and throw them out when they are embarrassing :D
use a bib is about all you can do but even that won't catch it all. |
Re: Baby food stains!
I do use bibs but she still manages to get it everywhere though .

Re: Baby food stains!
On the rare sunny day's that we had, any clothes that I had washed and pegged out with the stains on facing the sun, I found that the stains had dissappeared when I went to bring them in.
I know it sounds daft but it does work. But as it dosen't look like we are going to get any sun for a while, the best thing to use are the bibs with sleeves on that panther mentioned. The other thing I found that worked was Vanish oxi. |
Re: Baby food stains!
wash on 60... if they are white.. stick them in a bucket of miltons??(the stuff you clean terry nappys with)
|
Re: Baby food stains!
You will have to ask Terry first though :-)

Re: Baby food stains!
lol..... it should work...it removes the exact same thing...... just after its been digested :D:D
|
Re: Baby food stains!
If the item is white then pre-treat with napisan (be careful if there are other colours on it though as this will fade them) if it is not white then try vanish spray / oxi-action spray but ALWAYS pre-treat it. Never put it in the washing machine then try and remove the satin afterwards, it is too late by this point as the stain has been "washed into" the fibres and is impossible to remove

Re: Baby food stains!
thats the stuff :D

Re: Baby food stains!
try putting neat fairy liquid on it , gently rub in a leave for a hour , then wash as normal ,the stain should vanish
