Re: Tropical fish??

neons usually like to be in a 'pack' as do rummies, depending on the size of your tank i'd have about 5 neons and maybe 2 or 3 rummies, and if you get any clown loach get a couple of them too, they are around £5 each, so not really cheap, whatever you do, dont get 2 plecs, they are rather territorial, guppys and mollies are usually better if there is a few of them n'all, but thats up to you and also how much money you want to spend

Re: Tropical fish??

Re: Tropical fish??

your tiger things are tiger barbs, you can have all of the above(post 2) fish in a tank that size, i have named them all for you already, dont bother with the angels though, was told last night that they nip the other fish

4 or 5 mollies (be careful what you get, they are good breeders)
4 or 5 guppies (they are good breeders too)
maybe 4 rummies
10 neons
2 clown loach

i had all of these and a few more in a tank that was smaller than yours, so you should be ok (didnt have any neons though)

they arent cheap you know, and they arent cheap to keep either, not being funny but if you are on a meter for your electric try not to run out mate, the fish go cold really quick when the heater isnt on, so it must be on perminantly otherwise they will die

lol your bloody hard work ;)

yes i think you should get more fish with having a bigger tank, yes you are ok with 2 tiger barbs, gourami's are fine in pairs too, but they do get big, sharks are soft as muck, they dont keep the other fish in order lol if anything they just ignore them
